Psychvibes, as the name suggests is the Vibe effect unit. Unlike typical semiconductor based phasing, this is based on optical phaser inspired by legendary univibe used on Hendrix’s “Machine Gun” and Pink Floyd’s “Breathe,” two masterpieces of the classic rock era.
It was originally developed to simulate the three-dimensional swirly effect of the Leslie rotating speaker cabinet but didn’t quite hit its intended mark with that concept. However, its own signature sound and low end throb gave an unmatched psychedelic flavour.
Psychvibes, has 2 controls Depth & Speed & is powered by unusual 15-18V Regulated DC power supply.
The circuit has on-board trimmers to adjust the dynamics & response of the effect, however they are optimally set for best results.
